Revising Your Degree/Certificate Program Maps
Revised/Reorganized Program Process -
without Curricular Changes
This website is designed to support our LPC community with the process from how to go from a faculty idea for a REVISED PROGRAM without needing curricular changes to realizing these in program maps and career links that are student and community facing in our Academic & Career Pathway Degree & Certificate Maps and linking to Career Coach.
Process steps for revising an existing program without curricular changes.
Revising an existing Degree or Certificate Map:
- Discipline Faculty: Biannually faculty will have a chance to revise program maps per program needs,
such as scheduling changes to increase student access and equity or funding changes.
- It is suggested that faculty review their program maps in Septemeber and February as they engage in Program Review, completing Discipline Plans, etc.
- Discipline Faculty will initiate collaboration with Pathway Counseling Faculty to update the program
map. Please refer to your Pathway website's Success Team to find out who the current counseling representative(s) is.
- Collaboratively, discipline and counseling faculty will make revisions to the program map pdfs, located on the Curriculum Committee Program Map website.
- To support your revision effort, every current degree and certificate maps, along with the corresponding internal program map pdf used to create them, are housed by disciplines here.
- Collaboratively, discipline and counseling faculty will make revisions to the program map pdfs, located on the Curriculum Committee Program Map website.
- Discipline or Pathway Counseling Faculty will fill out the submission form and email the modified pdf program map to Danielle Bañuelos.

Program Mapper & Career Coach Support Specialist: Enters program in our Academic & Career Pathway's Program Mapper and Career Coach authoring tools.
- Program Mapper & Career Coach Support Specialist will send a live mapping link to Discipline Faculty and Counseling faculty for final review.

The pdf used to revise the program map is posted to the Curriculum Committee Program Map website to be used in future updates.
- Revisions requested by October and March 1st will be be published by the end of the month in time for registration.
